It just seems like yesterday when Chaitanya, Colwin, and Abhijit a team of three passionate and determined individuals decided to start their entrepreneurial journey. The whole world was revolving around the idea of continuous development, deployment, and integration. So, they started with a venture on 25th August 2015 and decided to name it Opcito (Continuous Ops). The only constant in a business environment is change. Opcito started its operations with an aim to answer these changing demands by delivering continuous innovation hence the motto “continuous innovation continuously delivered”.
The most important thing after the vision and mission of the company is its team. Any organization is a result of the hard work of its founding team. Today, Opcito has successfully completed 5 years thanks to its hardworking team of founders Chaitanya (CJ) who leads the vision & strategic side of the company, Colwin who leads the technology side of the company, and Abhijit who leads the business front. And when they run out of gas, Opcito has an equally capable team of co-founders that includes Vinay Patil, Sachin Gade, and Sachin Warke who are with Opcito since the inception.
For any business, to achieve the desired success, it is important that its people share the same vision as the founders. Thankfully, Opcito is blessed with a dynamic team that makes the journey towards success an easy one. This team forms the core of Opcito’s engineering excellence and is always on its toes to lead and deliver the best output. A team of technocrats that includes Shardul Latkar, Siddheshwar More, Sagar Salvi, Shreyas Damle, Shrikant Patil, and Bhushan Mahajan makes any engineering target an achievable one. Also, Prajakta Kude, Robin Bhat, Gaurav Ghuge, Nakul Jadhav, and Rushikesh Gandhi are integral contributors to Opcito’s success over the past years. With their profound business skills, they portray our organization brilliantly to everyone. Together, the engineering, business, and operations teams make a great combination. Opcito also has some senior members who have joined in the leadership positions in different teams to strengthen Opcito and take it forward to explore new horizons.
When it comes to promoting innovation and growth, the right culture matters the most. And what is a culture without values? The current pandemic has taught us many things as a team. It has shown us that irrespective of the situation, determination and persistence can take you to the desired summit. All the Opcitians are playing a very crucial role in the current scenario by standing united and most importantly trusting the organization even in difficult times. While everyone is working remotely, the HR team has come up with a fun activity called “Opcito Premiere League – the quest for infinity stones”. This activity divides the organization into 5 teams that are made up of individuals from across all the functions. They will be competing against each other and their functional team members to win points in various biweekly fun activities. The participants stand a chance to win attractive prizes at the end of each quest and a grand prize for the winners of the league. Such virtual activities are aimed to break the monotony and bring everyone closer to establish powerful communication and create a healthy work environment, virtually.
On Opcito’s 5th foundation day we would have loved to have a grand celebration with all the Opcitians. However, due to the current situation, we had a virtual celebration. All the Opcitians were pretty delighted with the goodies and the gifts. These hampers were sent as a small gesture of appreciation on behalf of Opcito for sticking around through thick and thin. Everyone was excited to participate in the virtual celebrations and enjoyed the quiz and the game of Virtual Scavenger Hunt.
Opcito strongly believes in continuous innovation and continuous improvement. It is a mark of a successful organization to constructively manage changes, plan out effective strategies, and provide the right work culture and opportunities to the employees. Abiding by all of the above-mentioned things Opcito aims to be recognized as a thought leader in the space in the coming time. We aim to continue setting new benchmarks for innovation and customer service excellence. Because in the end, loyal customers are the best ambassadors for any brand. Exploring new technologies has always been on Opcito’s agenda. New technologies will help us to serve our customers as a one-stop solution for all their technology needs. In the coming year, the focus will be on ideating, designing, and building solution accelerators to onboard customers faster with low-cost automation implementation for Cloud/DevOps/Containers initiatives. A strong team to design and contribute to the actual AI and ML implementations for our customers' application and infrastructure requirements is already in process.

“There will be obstacles. There will be doubters. There will be mistakes. But with hard work, there are no limits.”
Of course, success and failures are part and parcel of the journey. However, Opcito as an organization has been continuously and diligently putting efforts to be better than we were yesterday. Cheers to the future!
